okay so this was atleast a month back. went with 2 close friends from uni(: and it was awesome fun. so the JM3 (not john mayer trio) is a jazz fusion band. it's really quite funky. and in fact i'm listening to them now. oh, and i managed to get their album autographed, but i won't be posting it up(:.

in hindsight, i must say i'm pretty proud that i've improved my studying technique (it now includes studying!). anyway. here i am. to update ya'll.

so a week before exams i went to a concert by Basia Bulat (she's awesome). it was an awesome concert. it was really chill, and she was really really friendly(:

Our Spirit Award (yay)

Busted lip, frozen fingers and a cold one.

Today's the first day since the 2 day tourney at bathurst (yay Stampede II). twas fun and reallyreally good learning grounds. Champagne Suufa Nova came in 3rd for the main comp (but we won the Spirit Award!) and our mixed hat team, It Takes 2 to Tango, came in 2nd.

So anyway, saturday was as cold as heck, like, some people's hands turned blue. i couldn't feel my hands and feet till i had a hot shower at the end of the day (the hot shower was totally awesome). and i got smacked in the head. lucky i was so cold my head was numb and all i felt was the field spinning around me for a sec. no pain! yay. and the guy treated me to a beer after. and i was falling asleep at the bar. so people came up to me and thought i was drunk (i was just sleeeeping =\)

Knee's slightly achey, but either than that, i'm surprisingly fine. Tonight's league. hope i can play well! will post pictures up of stuff ASAP.

feeling very vulnerable.

mum and dad's gone to china this morning. there was a big earthquake close to where they're landing. momma gave me a call before they left. after that mom dropped her sons an email. looks like she's very worried. i miss mom. but all i can do is pray. sigh.
